Sad news from Daphne Essex that Bob passed away peacefully yesterday at Overslade Care Home. Bob had been unwell for the past 6 months. He was 79. Our thoughts are with their families.

Bob you will be missed, Bob helped me so many times with technical help and all aspects of organ building. From time to time Bob gave me quick sharp lessons on organ etiquette and boy did I need it. Bob even took the time to review my own set of organ plans and pointed out potential dimension problems, then away to resolve them, problems like how to make the base pipes sound deeper and more enriched, by moving all the base pipes down one octave. I found Bob to have a very quick smart mind. Thank you for all the time and effort you gave me. Rest Bob, sincere condolence to Daphne. Phil Radford and Barbara (her-indoors).
